Liquity functioning requires the participation of economically incentivized frontend operators that provide the UI for interacting with Liquity smart contracts.

Beam works in another way — every Beam desktop wallet is an independent frontend.

What this changes

• Higher censorship resistance — there is no third-party operator to coerce.
• Better security — no fake-frontend phishing attack surface.
• No frontend revenue share — Nephrite doesn't need to pay third-party services for the UI. All rewards go solely to the Stability Pool depositors.
